2 Children Who Drowned In The Jambi Day Batang River Found Dead

JAMBI - Two children who were reported to have drowned in the Batang Hari River section in the Tebo Regency area, Jambi Province, were found dead. The rescue team found the body of Kadapi (8) on the banks of the Batang Hari River, about 35 kilometers from where he was reported to have drowned. Public Relations of the Jambi Search and Rescue Office (Basarnas) M Lutfhi said the victim's body was found at around 09.00 WIB and then taken to the funeral home. The body of Rizki (8), another child who was reported to have drowned in the Batang Hari River on Tuesday, December 13, was found dead on Wednesday, December 14. "The child's body was found about four kilometers from where he was reported drowned," Lutfi explained in Jambi, Antara, Thursday, December 15. Rizki reportedly slipped and fell into the Batang Hari River while playing and Kadafi was swept away by the current while trying to help Rizki.
