Today's Obstruction Of Justice Session, Hendra Kurniawan And Agus Nurpatra Will Listen To The Certificate's Information

The defendants Hendra Kurniawan and Agus Nurpatra will undergo a follow-up trial in the alleged obstruction of investigation or obstruction of justice case of the death of Brigadier J today. The plan is that the public prosecutor (JPU) will present Irfan Widyanto and Chuck Putranto as witnesses.

"The information (witness, red) is IW and CP," said legal advisers Hendra Kurniawan and Agus, Ragahdo Yosodiningrat when confirmed, Thursday, December 15.

Irfan Widyanto is known to be the former Head of Subunit I Sub-Directorate III of the Directorate of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri. Meanwhile, Chuck Putranto is the former Head of the Propam Division.

Both of them were also defendants at the Kaaus obstruction of justice, the death of Brigadier J. They allegedly participated and helped eliminate evidence in the form of CCTV footage or DVR from the security post of Ferdy Sambo's official residence at the Police Complex, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta.

With the status of the two defendants, Irfan Widyanto and Chuck Putranto are considered crown witnesses in the obstruction of justice case. This is because they have experienced and committed the alleged criminal offense.

Meanwhile, in this case Hendra Kurniawan and Agus Nurpatra were jointly charged with obstructing the investigation into the case of the death of Brigadier J.

Thus, they are strongly suspected of violating Article 49 in conjunction with Article 33 subsidiary Article 48 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 32 paragraph (1) of the ITE Law Number 19 of 2016 and/or the second indictment of Article 233 of the Criminal Code subsidiary Article 221 paragraph (1) to 2 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 to (1) of the Criminal Code.
