SOLO - Mayor of Surakarta FX, Hadi Rudyatmo, was reluctant to respond to the issue of an offer to fill the seat of social minister previously occupied by Juliari Batubara.

"That's the news on Twitter," he said as quoted by Antara, Friday, December 18.

FX Rudy said he had not been contacted by anyone regarding the ministerial seat. Therefore, the chairman of the PDI-P Surakarta DPC chose not to respond.

"I haven't called me yet, no one has called me," he said.

Rudyatmo, or so-called Rudy, is a figure who is quite central in the political arena in Solo. He became the deputy mayor during Joko Widodo's time as mayor there.

However, when asked about his readiness if the offer actually came, Rudyatmo admitted that he would still consider it.

"There is still a long way to go, between ready and not. The considerations are confidential, apparently not being offered," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding his departure to Jakarta in the near future, he stated that he would receive an award related to the Government Award.

"Previously, I was given an award, I was told to attend. I would like to thank (convey) to the Minister of Home Affairs (Tito Karnavian) for asking permission to fill echelon II, III, IV, many of these are empty. new, "he said.

He said several vacant positions included the Manpower Office, archives, BPBD, cooperation, expert staff, and government assistants.
