The Head of Public Relations of the Jambi Police, Senior Commissioner of Police Mulia Prianto, said that the control was carried out in four locations of gold mining activities without a permit located in the Tujuh Koto District, Tebo Regency, Jambi.

He explained that as many as 145 joint personnel were deployed directly to carry out activities to control PETI activities in Tanjung Village, Tujuh Koto District, Tebo Regency.

"Arriving there, the personnel immediately carried out the control," he also said.

In the operation, at the first location, six dompeng rafts were found, then in the second location three pieces were found, the third location was found nine pieces and the fourth location was found 10 dompeng equipment.

"There are four locations that have been secured," he said.

Meanwhile, the assembled place and dompeng that were at the location were immediately destroyed by the team on duty, then the evidence in the form of the tools used immediately secured and will be taken to the Jambi Police Headquarters.

"We have secured all the evidence, for the assembled dompeng we destroyed it," he added.

He explained that the Jambi Regional Police would continue to control gold mining without a sustainable permit.
