JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) closed down at the close of trading on Friday, January 31 this afternoon. JCI collapsed 117,548 points or 1.94 percent to 5,940,048.

At the close of trading today, shares that were included in the top gainers, namely PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES) rose IDR155 or 9.90 percent to IDR1,720, shares of PT Dyandra Media International Tbk (DYAN) rose IDR5 or 7.58 percent to Rp71 and shares of PT Indonesian Tobacco Tbk (ITIC) increased by Rp110 or 5.26 percent to Rp2,200.

Meanwhile, stocks entered into the top losers, among others, shares of PT Envy Technologies Tbk (ENVY) fell IDR92 or 24.86% to IDR278, shares of PT Repower Asia Indonesia Tbk (REAL) fell IDR86 or 23.50% to IDR280, and shares of PT Putra Rajawali Indonesia Tbk (PURA) fell IDR32 or 13.33% to IDR208.

Foreign investors recorded net sales of Rp 1.85 trillion in all markets. The stocks with the largest foreign net sales were PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) with IDR 550.3 billion, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) IDR 231.9 billion and PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) IDR 197. 4 billion.
