JAKARTA - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin reminded that corruption is the main enemy of the nation. The vice president even said that corruption is a global disaster such as COVID-19.

He conveyed this when delivering his remarks at the commemoration of World Anti-Corruption Day (Hakordia) 2022 at the Bidakara Hotel, South Jakarta, Friday, December 9.

"Corruption is the main enemy of the whole nation. Similar to COVID-19, corruption is also a global disaster," Ma'ruf said in his remarks.

Ma'ruf said, corruption is also destructive and the center of all problems. Thus, the government seeks to implement clean and good governance and is free of corruption.
