Andi Irfan Jaya About The Invitation To Pinangki: I Am Glad To Be Invited Abroad, I Did Not Pay

JAKARTA - Former NasDem politician Andi Irfan Jaya explained the reasons for agreeing to Kaksa Pinangki Sirna Malasari's invitation to accompany him to meet Joko Tjandra in Kuala Lumpur, Malayasia. One of them is because all travel costs are borne by Pinangki.

Andi Irfan Jaya was presented as a witness in the case of alleged gratification of the Supreme Court (MA) fatwa and bribery for the removal of red notice for the suspect Joko Tjandra.

The disclosure of Andi Irfan Jaya's reasons began when the public prosecutor (JPU) asked why Andi Irfan immediately agreed to Pinangki's invitation. In fact, according to the prosecutor, it is not uncommon for someone to invite him abroad without any clear reason.

"It's not possible, right away, right? You must ask. Didn't you ask?" said the prosecutor during a trial at the Corruption Court, Central Jakarta, Thursday, December 17.

Andi Irfan answered that he did not ask further about PInangki's invitation. Because, his friendship with Pinangki has been around for a long time.

"Ee, I asked him, that eee, what is eee for? He said just accompany me," said Andi.

"I do not ask the details there, sir," he continued.

Even while Andi Irfan was in Jakarta, he often went out with Pinangki. They often do just coffee to eat.

"We often eat together," he said.

Hearing this answer, the prosecutor then asked again why Andi Irfan Jaya agreed to the invitation. Andi Irfan Jaya admits that he wants to come with Pinangki because he doesn't have to pay all the travel costs to lodging.

"I did not go too far to ask what was in my heart at that time, maybe I was happy to be invited to go out, I didn't pay anymore," he said.
