Groups That Give Assistance To Astanaanyar Murder Bombing Actors Areburied

BANDUNG - Head of BNPT Komjen Boy Rafli Amar is looking for and investigating groups suspected of assisting the suicide bombing of the Astanaanyar Police.

BNPT is also still investigating the activities carried out by the perpetrators before carrying out the bomb that killed a perpetrator and a member of the National Police.

"We still want to continue to try to see other groups that provide assistance, we continue to investigate that direction," Boy said while reviewing the Astanaanyar Police, Bandung City, West Java, Thursday, December 8.

He said the violent-based ideology was very dangerous and needed to be anticipated together.

According to Boy, the suicide bomber at the Astanaanyar Police, identified as Agus Sujatno alias Agus Muslim, was a Bandung resident who had moved to Central Java. Therefore, BNPT still needs to deepen the profile of the former terrorism convict.

"We are still coordinating with other elements so that our anticipation in the future can be maximized," he added as quoted by Antara.

In addition, Boy assessed that the police were often targeted by terrorists because according to him the terrorist group considered the police a threat to their actions.

"So, psychologically, among them, this makes the police element a target for their revenge. Of course, we really regret this happened, especially when someone else died," he explained.

He also condemned the suicide bombing tragedy carried out by terrorists affiliated with the Jamaah Ansharut Daulah (JAD) network. According to him, the suicide bomber was affected by the terrorism ideology virus that eliminates all means.

"We regret it again; secondly, we certainly express our condolences to the police officers who died and also those who were injured," said Boy Rafli Amar.
