Ruko Beka Holywings Di Tanjung Duren Terbakar, Saksi Hampak Burup Di Lantai 2

JAKARTA - Holywings' former shop house (ruko) on Jalan Tanjung Duren III, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta, caught fire on Monday evening, December 5. Tanjung Duren police chief, Kompol Muharram Wibisono said that before the shophouse caught fire, there was an explosion.

"The fire incident occurred at around 17.00 WIB," he said when confirmed in Jakarta.

He explained that at that time, one of the witnesses heard an explosion from the corner of the room on the second floor of the shophouse.

The explosion was thought to have been from one of the electrical installations on the second floor.

"Information from one of the witnesses was like a small explosion and then the fire spread," he said.

The fire that started to spread, causing residents in the panic room.

They ended up running out while looking for help to put out the fire.

Firefighters also came to the location at 17.19 WIB.

After the officers struggled to extinguish the red rooster, the fire was finally extinguished at around 18.25 WIB.

"There were six vehicles from the fire department (firefighters) that were deployed to extinguish the fire, then the Satpol PP was also present here," he explained.

Until now, Muharam has not been able to determine the main cause of the fire.

He also could not confirm the loss from the fire because currently officers were still carrying out the cooling process.

"What I can confirm is that there are no injuries and casualties," he said.
