Today, BMKG Predicts That Most Parts Of Indonesia Will Be Showered With Rain

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts the potential for heavy rain that can be accompanied by lightning in several cities and most provinces in Indonesia.

In an early weather warning quoted from Jakarta, Saturday, BMKG predicts heavy rain can fall in Aceh, North Sumatra, West Sumatra, Riau, Riau Islands, Bengkulu, Jambi, South Sumatra, Bangka Belitung Islands, Lampung, Banten, West Java, DI Yogyakarta, East Java, Bali, NTB, and NTT.

Heavy rains also have the potential to fall in West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, Gorontalo, Central Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, North Maluku, Maluku, West Papua and Papua.

Rain with lighter intensity is predicted to occur in DKI Jakarta.

Cities in Indonesia that have the potential to experience heavy rain that has the potential to be accompanied by lightning today are Gorontalo, Jambi, Banjarmasin, Pangkal Pinang, Tanjung Pinang, Ambon, Palembang, and Medan.

Especially for DKI Jakarta, moderate intensity rain is predicted to fall in South Jakarta and East Jakarta at night.

Light rain can fall in West Jakarta during the day and at night, Central Jakarta at night, South Jakarta and East Jakarta during the day, as well as the Thousand Islands in the early hours of the morning.
