Ahead Of The Fit And Proper Test, 9 Former KSAL In Addition To Providing Support To Admiral Yudo Margono

Nine former Navy Chiefs of Staff (KSAL) provide support to TNI Admiral Yudo Margono who will undergo a fit and proper test as a candidate for the TNI Commander. The Fit and Proper Test will be held today at Commission I of the DPR RI. "I invited the former KSAL to Headquarters to attend the inauguration of the Integrated Fleet Weapons System Park (SSAT). He has sat where I am now," said Admiral Yudo at Headquarters Cilangkap, East Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Friday, December 2. The nine former KSALs who attended were Admiral TNI (Ret.) Arief Koeshariadi, Admiral TNI (Ret.) Achmad Soetjipto, Admiral TNI (Ret.) Bernard K. Sondakh, Admiral TNI (Ret.) Slamet Soebijanto, Admiral TNI (Ret.) Sumardjono, Admiral TNI (Ret.) Tedjo Edhy P, Admiral TNI (Ret.) Ade Supandi, and Admiral TNI (Ret.) Siwi Sukma Adji and Admiral TNI Purn Agus Suhartono, who are also former TNI commanders. According to him, the former KSAL will certainly provide prayers, support, and attention to him as the next generation to serve as TNI Commander. "I think that, I believe he is my seniors, my parents who are already at the same level as my father, of course he will give me prayers and support," said Yudo. He admitted that he was ready to undergo a fit and proper test at the DPR which was planned to be carried out this Friday. "Since it was announced by the Chairman of the DPR RI, we are ready. In fact, we held small meetings to prepare for the presentation on the 'fit and proper test' this afternoon," said Yudo. Meanwhile, former General Chairperson of the Navy Retired Association (PPAL) Admiral TNI Retired Ade Supandi said he was grateful that Admiral Yudo Margono was trusted to serve as TNI Commander. "We are happy that finally from the sea dimension we are trusted to become TNI commanders," said Ade. KSAL Admiral Yudo Margono this afternoon will carry out a fit and proper test as a candidate for the TNI Commander in Chief to replace General Andika Perkasa. General TNI Andika Perkasa at the end of December 2022 will enter a retirement period as an active TNI soldier. And TNI Admiral Yudo Margono is the sole candidate proposed by President Joko Widodo as the person who will lead the TNI institution in the future.
