He said the witnesses who saw Yusdar fall immediately informed the incident to BRI's Pam Obvit personnel, namely Brigadier Anton Manobi, who immediately reported it to the Yahukimo Police Headquarters guard picket.

"At around 23.20 WIT Yusdar was evacuated to Dekai Hospital using a Samapta patrol car, but upon arrival the victim's life could not be saved and was declared dead at around 23.35 WIT," said Kamal.

He explained that the victim was hit by a shot in the back left behind because at the time of the incident the victim was turning his back on the highway before Bank BRI.
