Charta Politica: Golkar And PKB Are Considered The Most Appropriate To Choose Ganjar If It Is Canceled By PDIP

JAKARTA - The Charta Politica Survey Institute released the results of a survey related to what party deserves to carry Ganjar Pranowo if PDIP does not nominate him as a presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election.

As a result, Golkar and PKB became the two parties that were considered the most worthy to carry Ganjar.

The Executive Director of Charta Politica, Yunarto Wijaya, conducted a survey involving 398 respondents who were Ganjar's leaders.

The question asked is, if PDIP is not nominated as a presidential candidate, should Ganjar Pranowo run as a presidential candidate through party support?

"Respondents who claim to elect Ganjar Pranowo, 22.9 percent stated that if Ganjar Pranowo is not nominated by PDIP as a presidential candidate, he should run through the support of the Golkar Party," Yunarto said at a press conference on the results of a survey with the theme 'Public Perceptions Regarding Government Performance and the Latest Electoral Map', Tuesday 29 November.

Furthermore, Yunarto revealed that 19.1 percent of respondents stated that they chose Ganjar Pranowo to choose PKB.

Then followed by Gerindra with 12.8 percent; NasDem (7.8 percent); PPP (3.5 percent); PAN (2.5 percent), PSI (2 percent), Perindo (1.5 percent), and PKS (0.8 percent).

Respondents who did not answer or not the year amounted to 27.1 percent.

As many as 31 percent of PDIP and Ganjar Pranowo voters said they would not vote for PDIP if Ganjar Pranowo was not nominated by PDIP.

Meanwhile, respondents who did not know or did not answer were 14.5 percent.

On the other hand, as many as 87.5 percent of voters from PDIP and Ganjar stated that they still chose Ganjar Pranowo even though it was not nominated by PDIP.

Based on the latest survey, PDIP's electability is currently at 21.7 percent. Then followed by Gerindra at 14.5 percent; Golkar (9.8 percent); PKB (8.5 percent); Democrats (7.3 percent); PKS (6.9 percent), NasDem (6 percent); PAN (4 percent), PPP (3.6 percent), and PPP (3.6 percent).

The electability of Ganjar Pranowo is known to be firmly at the top even though Anies Baswedan has been declared a presidential candidate by NasDem. In the simulation of 10 names, Ganjar's electability reached 32.6 percent.

Ganjar, who is currently the Governor of Central Java for two terms, is a landslide ahead of Anies Baswedan, who only has 23.1 percent electability. Meanwhile, Prabowo is in third position with 22 percent.

In the simulation of three names, Yunarto said that Ganjar was again in the top position with an electability of 37.4 percent. Then followed by Anies by 29.3 percent and Prabowo by 25.3 percent.

The Charta Politica Indonesia survey was held on November 4 - 12, 2022. This survey used the multistage random sampling method with face-to-face interviews.

The samples in this survey amounted to 1,220 spread across provinces with a minimum criteria of 17 years or already meeting voter requirements.

The margin of error from this survey is 2.83 percent.
