Three Teenagers With Sharp Weapons Arrested By Police During Night Patrol

JAKARTA - The East Jakarta Metro Police Precision Pioneer Patrol Team arrested three teenagers involved in a brawl equipped with sharp weapons in the area of ​​Jalan TB Simatupang, Ciracas, East Jakarta. The arrest of the three teenagers took place dramatically because they were involved in a chase.

East Jakarta Metro Police Head of Samapta Unit, Ipda Aman Wibowo, said they had fled but were arrested on Supriadi Street, East Jakarta.

When he was about to be arrested, one teenager hid a sharp weapon in the bushes, but his actions were discovered by the police. The officer ordered the perpetrator to take the weapon.

"One teenager and a sharp weapon were arrested. Then two other teenagers were also arrested along with evidence of a motorbike," he told reporters, Tuesday, November 29.

In their action, the perpetrators allegedly made an appointment with other groups through social media accounts.

"One of them ran into the gutter but was not found," he said.

The arrests of the perpetrators were carried out when officers were conducting night patrols. For further processing, the three teenagers were handed over to the Ciracas Police, East Jakarta.

"The three teenagers were taken to the Ciracas Police for further processing," he said.
