The Perpetrator Of The Theft Who Fled While Being Treated At Bhayangkara Hospital Was Handed Over By His Family, Lampung Police Chief Kasih Pujian

JAKARTA - Lampung Police Chief Inspector General Akhmad Wiyagus praised the families of the perpetrators who voluntarily handed over their children to the police because they had fled from the Bhayangkara Police Hospital in Lampung.

"The Kapolda appreciates the families of the perpetrators who have handed over their children to the police," Lampung Police Public Relations Head Kombes Zahwani Pandra Arsyad in Bandarlampung, Monday, November 28, reported by Antara.

In addition, said Pandra, the Kapolda also said that this could be used as an example for the entire community.

According to him, this can be done by all the people of Lampung who have helped the police in enforcing the law.

"Once again, the Kapolda and his staff appreciate the families of the suspects who obey the law, Eility Before The Law: Equation of Rights before the Law," he said.

Previously, the suspect in the case of violent theft, Bahroni (20), a resident of Rusbah Village, Puduh Pidada District, Pesawaran Regency, who had reportedly fled while undergoing treatment for a COVID-19 patient, in the isolation room of Bhayangkara Hospital, last Tuesday, was finally picked up by Ditreskrimum personnel at his home, on Wednesday (23/11).

The arrest of the suspect Bahroni as a result of an approach to all parties, especially to a very cooperative family. The Lampung Police Chief gave his appreciation to the families and the public who already understood the law so that the suspect was handed back to the police.

"The perpetrator's father, Suhaimi, apologized to the Lampung Police Chief and was grateful for providing treatment to his son who was exposed to the COVID-19 virus, but instead fled during isolation at Bhayangkara Hospital," said Pandra.
