Ujung Genteng Beach Branded To Be Sukabumi's Unggulan Tourism

JAKARTA - Sukabumi Regent Marwan Hamami officially launched the Ujung Genteng Beach tourist attraction as one of the leading tourism areas.

"This launch aims to promote the southern coastal tourist attraction of Sukabumi Regency to attract tourists to come to various tourist attractions in Sukabumi Regency," Marwan said on the sidelines of the launching of the Ujung Genteng Beach tourist attraction, Saturday, November 26.

The location of Ujung Genteng Beach which is used as an instagramable or habitable tourist attraction on social media is Bagalbatre Beach, Ujung Genteng Village, Ciracap District.

This tourist location is very appropriate for world travelers and celebrities because it provides natural panaramas that are still beautiful and no less beautiful than similar tourist attractions in Indonesia.

Bagalbatre Beach is also included in the Unesco Global Geopark area of Ciletuh Palabuhanratu, so that tourists who come are not only limited to enjoying the beauty of the beach, but can gain knowledge about the geological and prehistoric world.

According to Marwan, the construction of this instagramable tourist attraction aims to develop marine tourism that is optimistic that it can attract tourists who come from various regions in Indonesia to foreign countries.

This development aims to develop the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), arts and culture of the people living around tourist sites.

"Launching is one of our efforts to accelerate the economic recovery of the community after the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to COVID-19, almost three years of tourism in Sukabumi Regency had slumped," he added.
