The government immediately carried out President Jokowi's directive regarding the Cianjur earthquake, West Java. The directive was issued by Jokowi after he visited the location of the natural disaster that occurred in Cianjur Regency by land on Tuesday, November 22.

During his visit, the President visited a refugee camp in Prawatisari Park. The location is a temporary shelter for people who are victims of an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6. The direction of President Jokowi regarding the Cianjur earthquake is as follows.

In his direction, the President requested that the evacuation of the rescue of victims of the Cianjur earthquake buried under the rubble of the building must be carried out as soon as possible.

"Then the second for the victims who are still buried, I have also ordered that the evacuation take precedence, rescue takes precedence," said the President.

In addition, the President also requested that a house that has earthquake resistance be built immediately. The house is intended for victims affected by the earthquake that occurred on Monday, November 21.

"The most important thing is that the construction of houses affected by this earthquake is required to use standard buildings that are anti-earthquake by the Minister of PUPR," said Jokowi.

It is also confirmed that the government will provide assistance in the form of money to help residents whose houses were damaged by the earthquake. The President also ensured that the Government would be present for victims of the Cianjur earthquake.
