In a statement reported by North Korea's official News Agency, Kim Yo-jong took issue with an open board meeting to discuss the launch of North Korea's Hwasong-17 ICBM.

"The UN DK has turned a blind eye to very dangerous military exercises from the US and South Korea and the buildup of their greedy weapons aimed at the DPRK and questioned the implementation of the DPRK's right to self-defense that cannot be contested by their suit," said Kim Yo-jong, Tuesday, November 22.

"This is clearly the application of double standards," he added, noting that the UN DK session was held "at the urging" of the United States.

Kim Yo-jong ensured North Korea would not stand still and be ready to fight any slander. North Korea calls this the right to defend itself.

"The US must be aware that no matter how hard it seeks to strip the DPRK, the US will never be able to eliminate the DPRK's right to defend itself and increasingly insist on anti-DPRK actions, it will happen. face a more fatal security crisis," he said.

North Korea continues to increase military tensions with a series of missile provocations, sparking fears that it leads to stronger provocations, such as nuclear tests.
