JAKARTA - The Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo's instruction that the construction of roads using pure Buton asphalt in their area has been implemented on a number of roads. One of them, the Salatiga-Ngablak road section.

For provincial roads, the maintenance uses Buton asphalt.

A road user, Sumaji, said he was happy to cross the Salatiga-Kopen road, because he was in good condition.

Another road user, Eka is a resident of Salatiga, the asphalt condition of the road in Salatiga is very good. He often crosses the Salatiga-Kopen road, where there are no bumpy roads.

"This asphalt is good. It's not bumpy. Usually the asphalt tends to be bad," said Eka.

Head of the Public Works Office of Bina Marga Cipta Karya, Central Java Province, Hanung Triyono, said that his party had been using Buton asphalt since 2015 until now. In 2015, the trial process was carried out in the courtyard of the Central Java Governor's office and provincial roads on Jalan Letjen S Parman Purbalingga.

"So from 2015 we tried to optimize this well. Until the issuance of the Circular Letter of the Governor of Central Java No. 000/4443 dated September 28, 2022, regarding theunation of Aspal Buton in the context of Increasing the Use of Domestic Products (P3DN) in Central Java.
