Dubai Will Be Like A Luxury Resort In The Form Of The Moon, Its Development Fee Is Targeted To Be IDR 78.2 Trillion

JAKARTA - If there are no obstacles, a super luxury resort will reportedly be built in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), will be called Moon World Resorts.

The building will be 360-degree recreational on a large scale, complete with realistic craters and textures. The 'Moon' will be built with a height of 224 meters and a circumference of 2,042 feet.

Canadian-based entrepreneur Michael R. Henderson, co-founder of Moon World Resorts, told CNN Travel the core of the project is the "recognizable brand".

"Seven and a half billion people know about it, everyone likes it," he said.

According to Henderson, the Moon World Resorts will be a "very luxurious and contemporary, fully integrated destination resort, with many components of the facility in it. For example convention centers, restaurants to spas.

Artist rendering envisions the spacecraft-style interior and themed entertainment, including what Henderson sees as the main attraction, an experience that replicates how it feels to walk on the moon.

"We will give you the ability for the rest of your life to walk on what you believe is the surface of the moon," said Henderson.

The project comes with an "extraordinary technical challenge," Henderson explained, but he and co-founder Sandra G. Matthews worked closely with independent engineers and architects to realize the concept.

The long-term goal is to build four lunar resorts, one in North America, one in Europe, one in the Middle East and North Africa, and one in Asia.

The UAE, in particular Dubai, has been designated by the company as the "leading candidate" for the opening of the first Moon World resort.

He explained, this is because the UAE is "very popular with tourists" and homes for "many infrastructure projects".

Henderson said Moon World Resort's experience would be much cheaper, with the cost of'registration' to run on the resort's'monthly surface' of only $500 per person.

He added that he hopes that the first license holder, who is expected to invest 5 billion US dollars or around Rp. 78,207,000,000,000 to build, will be obtained by the end of 2022. He predicted the opening of the first Moon World resort five years later, in 2027.
