REJANG LEBONG - Rejang Lebong Regency Government (Pemkab), Bengkulu Province, allocated a budget of IDR 900 million for outstanding student scholarship programs. "We give this scholarship budget to medical faculty students as well as from other faculties who meet the requirements. The amount of the scholarship is adjusted to the single tuition fee or UKT for each university," said Head of the Education and Culture Office (Dikbud) Rejang Lebong Rezza Fakhlevie in Rejang Lebong, Antara, Friday, November 18. He explained that the scholarship program for outstanding students was given for one year, namely tuition fees paid every semester. The scholarship program for outstanding students is in accordance with the vision mission of the regent and deputy regent of Rejang Lebong in the 2020 simultaneous regional elections campaign. So far, dozens of students have taken registration forms to get assistance in the scholarship program launched by the Rejang Lebong Regency Government for the past few years. According to him, students who will receive this assistance must meet several requirements, including students who must be residents of Rejang Lebong, have a Cumulative Achievement Index (GPA) value of 3.0 for medical students studying at state universities, then IPK 3.25 for medical faculty students studying at private universities. Meanwhile, students from other faculties must have a GPA of 3.5 for those who study at state universities and a CPK of 3.75 for those who study at private universities. Students who have registered to get this assistance, he said, must undergo verification by a team formed by the Rejang Lebong Regency Government, if declared feasible, the scholarship will be given to the student concerned.
