CILACAP Four perpetrators of ATM burglary using card block mode were arrested by members of the Cilacap Police Satreskrim, Central Java. Cilacap Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head AKP Gurbakov M Krim said the perpetrator took action during the day when the victim took money at an ATM in Maos District, Cilacap Regency.

Gurbakov recounted that when the victim entered the ATM pin, the victim's ATM card could not enter the menu and the ATM card could not come out. Knowing this, the suspects acted according to their respective roles.

"One of the suspects entered the ATM room to help the victim, but with malicious intent to memorize the victim's ATM pin," said Gurbakov.

Gurbakov explained that the role of the other suspects was to monitor the situation. There were also those who played a role at the beginning of installing pieces of the bottle that were given glue, then put into the mouth of the ATM. As well as the role of other suspects taking the victim's ATM.

"As a result of the interrogation, the perpetrators have carried out their actions in 5 areas in Cilacap, Banyumas, Pemalang, wonosobo, Banjarnegara and West Java Regencies," said Gurbakov.

For their actions, the perpetrators were charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code with the threat of a sentence of 7 years.
