Operational Director of Jasa Raharja, Dewi Aryani Suzana, said that the relaxation of motor vehicle taxes is a momentum for vehicle owners to start paying taxes in an orderly manner. If people are orderly with taxes, of course development programs, community services, and safety programs will also run smoothly," said Dewi in Jakarta.

Dewi said that the tax bleaching and the elimination of BBNKB costs are a government program to help motor vehicle owners complete their obligations without being subject to delay fines. In addition, if taxes are continuously not paid, the vehicle has the potential to be fraudulent and cannot be used on the highway," he explained.

Currently, several provinces in Indonesia, such as DKI Jakarta, Central Java, East Java, Banten, South Sumatra, NTB, and a number of other areas, are still providing relaxation of tax relief and free of BBNKB costs until December 2022.

Jasa Raharja, Dewi said, hopes that the existence of this program will certainly be an opportunity for the community, especially motorized vehicle owners who have not fulfilled their obligations, to immediately pay without having to bear the administrative fine of delays. "Hopefully, in addition to increasing state revenue from the tax sector, it will also increase the accuracy of motor vehicle data," said Dewi.
