MRT Relocation Findings For Trem In Construction Area CP 202

JAKARTA - PT MRT Jakarta has again found tram tracks in the construction area of the work package or CP 202. Construction Director of PT MRT Jakarta Silvia Halim said that his party would relocate so that his condition would be maintained as when he was found.

This is done based on the method of deterrence to save the discovery of tram tracks which refers to Law Number 11 of 2010 concerning Cultural Conservation.

"PT pays close attention to the findings that are part of Jakarta's history and strives optimally to maintain part of this history. Apart from the rail span, the team also found a rail wesel (transfer to the train line)," Silvia said in her statement, Friday, November 11.

There are six evacuation points for the discovery of tram tracks in the CP202 construction area out of a total of eight excavation points carried out, namely in the Harmoni Station construction area as many as two of the three points, the construction area of the Sawah Station with two points, and the construction area of Mangga Besar Station two from three points.

"In general, tram tracks were found at a depth of 27 centimeters," said Silvia.

Meanwhile, in total, there are approximately 118 rail spans or 1.4 km long which will be relocated and conserved. The components consist of rail stems, rail-coupling slabs, rail pads made of wood and steel, bolts and screws, as well as rail-staining and ballistic rocks.

For information, CP 202 is a contract package for the construction of MRT Jakarta phase 2A which will build Harmoni Station, Sawah Besar Station, and Mangga Besar Station with a total line of about 1.8 kilometers.

Sawah Besar and Mangga Besar Stations will be one of the stations with a unique design because it will have four floors underground with a depth of about 28 meters.
