President Jokowi And Iriana Attend The Opening Of The Cambodia ASEAN Summit

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo and First Lady Iriana attended the opening ceremony of the 40th and 41th ASEAN Summits and other related summits at the Sokha Hotel, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Friday, November 11. Jokowi and Iriana arrived at the Sokha Hotel at around 07.50 local time with the welcome of Cambodian Prime Minister (PM) Hun Sen and continued with a group photo session. Together with other ASEAN leaders, Jokowi and Iriana then headed to the Sokha Hotel Ballroom to attend the opening ceremony. Furthermore, Jokowi together with other ASEAN leaders had the opportunity to review the photo exhibition and the launch of the book "Cambodia ’s Contribution to ASEAN". After the opening ceremony, Jokowi attended the 40th Plenary Session of the ASEAN Summit and the 41st ASEAN Summit Retreat session. Also attending to accompany the President in the opening session of the Cambodia ASEAN Summit were Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menkopolhukam) Mahfud MD, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, and Minister of State Secretary Pratikno.
