COVID-19 Update as of November 10: New Cases 6,294, Active Cases Increase to 45,831

JAKARTA - The Task Force for Handling COVID-19 released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 63,869 specimens were examined with the result that there were 6,294 new positive cases of COVID-19.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,544,201 people and active cases rose by 2,071 to 45,831 cases", said data from the COVID-19 Task Force, Thursday, November 10.

Today's recovered cases increased by 4,233 people, bringing the total to 6,339,381 people recovered. Then, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 37 cases and a total of 158,989 people.

The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 2,396 cases and a total of 1,466,937 cases. Followed by West Java with 1,013 new cases with a total of 1,196,674 cases. East Java with 693 new cases and a total of 619,740 cases. Banten with 611 new cases and a total of 346,943 cases.

The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 1,945 recovered cases. Followed by East Java with an additional 602 recovered cases, Central Java with an additional 376 recovered cases, and West Java with an additional 286 recovered cases.

In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens has reached 111,091,832.

"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 15.78 percent", he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases was recorded at 5,860 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

To date, 205,225,965 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 172,060,005 people have received the second dose of vaccination.

While the third dose of vaccination was 65,601,788 people and the fourth dose was 693,128 people. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 234,666,020 people.
