BIMA - Member of the Village Development Officer (Babinsa) Sergeant Chief Haerudin arrested a teenager with the initials IK in Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) for controlling 27 pockets of clear plastic clips containing methamphetamine. Military District Commander (Dandim) 1608/Bima Infantry Lieutenant Colonel M. Zia Ulhaq said the teenager's arrest took place on Wednesday morning in Naru Village, Sape District. "The initials IK employee was arrested by a member of Babinsa, Naru Village for controlling evidence of suspected methamphetamine. He was arrested early this morning," Zia said when contacted from Mataram, Antara, Wednesday, November 9. In addition to dozens of pockets of crystal methamphetamine, the Babinsa member also secured Rp12 million in cash, three bundles of empty plastic clips, magic tissue, and tools suspected of ticketing methamphetamine. All of the evidence is in IK's waist bag. The Dandim explained that this arrest began with Serka Haerudin's routine patrols at night in Naru Village which were included in the territory of the Military Rayon Command (Koramil) 1608-03/Sape. "That night Serka Haerudin found two teenagers who were sitting in the dark conditions," he said. Feeling suspicious, Haerudin approached the two teenagers. However, when Haerudin approached, one of them fled. "The initials MA escaped. Those caught by IK," said Zia. During interrogation, IK admitted that the evidence was entrusted by a man with the initials S. Before admitting this, IK had avoided the possession of drug evidence in the waist bag he was carrying. The Dandim added that his party had transferred the results of the arrest of the suspected drug dealer to the police. The confirmed head of the Bima City Police Narcotics Investigation Unit, AKP Tamrin, confirmed that his party had received the delegation of cases that were included in the jurisdiction of the Bima City Police from the TNI.
