The Cat Abuser Who Went Viral In Matraman Finally Left Himself To The Police

JAKARTA - The perpetrator of the cat molestation on Jalan Kayumanis 3, Matraman District, finally surrendered. The perpetrator turned himself in to the police station after the video went viral and was widely circulated on social media.

Matraman Police Chief Kompol Tribuana Roseno confirmed the surrender from the perpetrator.

"This morning, they surrendered to the police," said Commissioner Tribuana Roseno during confirmation, Monday, November 7.

However, the police chief has not explained the identity of the perpetrator who tortured the cat to death.

"The perpetrator threw the paving block at the cat's head," he said.

The perpetrator is currently still undergoing examination at the Matraman Police. The police have not raised the status of the perpetrator to be a suspect.

"For now, it is still at the police station, it is still under investigation," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a cat was abused using a large lump of rock by residents to death.

The action was carried out by irresponsible people at Jalan Kayumanis 3, Matraman District, East Jakarta, East Jakarta, Sunday, November 6.

The heinous act was also recorded by amateur cameras by other residents and went viral on social media. From the video footage, a cat can be seen lying dead and covered in blood.

The incident was discovered by a female resident who was passing by the location. An eye witness to the incident, Intan Meutia, said that initially she and her husband passed by the scene. He saw a middle-aged man holding a stone from inside the house.
