Update On COVID-19 As Of November 6: Added 3,662 Positive Cases From Examination Of 40,125 Speciments

The COVID-19 Task Force released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 40,125 specimens were examined today, with the results of 3,662 positive cases.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,521,292 people and active cases have increased by 1,145 to 37,048 cases," said COVID-19 Task Force data, Sunday, November 6.

Today's recovered cases increased by 2,495 people, bringing the total to 6,325,415 recovered people. Then, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 22 cases and a total of 158,829 people.

The province with the most new cases is DKI Jakarta with 1,542 cases and a total of 1,458,385 cases. Followed by East Java 532 which has 718 new cases with a total of 616,929 cases. West Java has 490 new cases and a total of 1,193,184 cases. Banten has 252 new cases and a total of 344,743 cases.

The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 1,067 recovered cases. Followed by East Java with an additional 478 recovered cases, West Java with an additional 196 recovered cases, and Kalimantan Timur with an additional 1665 recovered cases.

In addition, the number of specimens that had been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigen reached 110,823,463.

"Positive results per number of people examined or this week's positivity rate of 15.78 percent", he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases was recorded at 3,297 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

Furthermore, currently there are 205,190,090 people who have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 171,989,257 the second dose of vaccination. Then, the third dose of vaccination was 65,379,116 and the fourth dose was 682,436. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 234,666,020 people.
