JAKARTA - PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) corrected the statement by the President Director of Jakpro Widi Amanasto who said that the financial report for the implementation of Formula E was being audited by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK).

Jakpro's VP Corporate Secretary, Syachrial Syarief, clarified that the Jakarta E-Prix title audit was actually carried out by the public accounting firm (KAP).

"The audit was conducted by an independent institution or the Public Accounting Office (KAP), not by the BPK according to previous information. The Jakarta E-Prix 2022 financial audit is still ongoing by the KAP," said Syachrial in his statement, Sunday, November 6.

Syachrial explained that this audit is a review of the financial statements of a company or business that is carried out independently and objectively.

"The purpose of conducting an audit is to provide certainty for every stakeholder that the financial statements made are accurate, complete, and in line with the audit provisions standards," he said.

Meanwhile, Jakpro has compiled an internal financial report. Jakpro recorded a profit before tax of IDR 6.41 billion.

"The maintenance above has taken into account all cash and non-cash incomes and burdens, including obligations that are still outstanding until September 30, 2022," he said.

Previously, the President Director of PT Jakpro Widi Amanasto admitted that the audit process for the financial report for the implementation of Formula E had not yet been completed. Widi said, the audit will only be completed next month.

Widi's statement answered questions from the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, in a Budget Board meeting discussing the draft General Policy on the Temporary Budget Priority Ceiling (KUA-PPAS) of the APBD for the 2023 fiscal year.

Initially, Prasetyo questioned how much profit Jakpro had made as the organizer of Formula E from ticket sales. Because, until now the DPRD has not yet received clarity about it.

"Regarding ticketing. Today we don't know, you know, profit or not, mouth of Jakpro. Where's the luck? Please answer," said Prasetyo at Grand Cempaka Resort, Bogor Regency, West Java, Wednesday, November 2.

Prasetyo urged Widi to act transparently in being responsible for the profit-loss aspects of the Formula E event.

This is because the electric car racing event was included in the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigation with allegations of corrupt practices in its implementation.

"You have to be honest, sir. I'm tired of being called by the KPK. This is in the realm of kpk. You explain," said Prasetyo.

Widi also answered that question. Widi said that currently the audit is still being carried out by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK). He targets the results of the audit to be known next month.

"For reports, a BPK audit is currently being carried out, which may be completed within the next one month," explained Widi.
