Viral Action Of Attempted Theft In Cipete, South Jakarta, The Alleged Perpetrator Of Brings Firearms

JAKARTA - A viral video on social media showing the theft in the Cipete area, Cilandak, South Jakarta. This action was also caught on surveillance cameras or CCTV.

In the video uploaded to the Instagram account @InfoCipete, there are three perpetrators suspected of being thieves. They intend to steal a motorcycle, but the action is caught by the residents.

In the description of the account, the perpetrator had erupted an object that resembled a firearm. Cilandak police chief, Police Commissioner Multazam Lisendra said the incident occurred on Thursday, November 3, at 17.30 WIB. His party is currently investigating the case.

Based on the testimony of witnesses, the perpetrator opened fire from objects resembling firearms targeting the neck and head. Luckily the bullet missed, so it did not cause any casualties.

"At the neck and head, but no injuries were found on the victim," he said.

Multazam also revealed that until now the victim had not made a police report.

However, he will continue to follow up, based on the viral ones on social media.

"Not yet reported because no one was injured and the items were missing. (But-ed) The team is still trying to track down the alleged perpetrators, ask for prayers from the community, and activate the security", he explained.
