Former President Director Of Pelindo II RJ Lino Will Serve A 4-year Sentence At Cipinang Prison

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) executed former President Director of PT Pelindo II Richard Joost Lino or RJ Lino to Cipinang Class I Prison last Thursday, November 3. He will serve a sentence related to the corruption case in the procurement and maintenance of the quayside container crane (QCC) in 2010.

"Executive Prosecutor Irman Yudiandri has finished carrying out the execution of the decision of the Panel of Judges at the Supreme Court level which has permanent legal force with the convict RJ Lino," said Head of the News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Friday, November 4.

"The convict is then put in Cipinang Class I Prison to serve a prison sentence of 4 years minus the length of detention period since the investigation process," he continued.

Not only that, RJ Lino was required to pay a fine. "It is also charged with the obligation to pay a criminal fine of Rp. 500 million," said Ali.

RJ Lino was sentenced to the DKI Jakarta High Court with a sentence of 4 years in prison. This verdict strengthens the decision of the Jakarta Corruption Court Panel of Judges.
