JAKARTA - In addition to examining the committee, the Central Jakarta Metro Police Investigators also examined the management of the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (GBK) and the COVID-19 Task Force regarding the Berdendang Bergoyang music concert which was held at Istora Senayan, Saturday night, October 29.

"(GBK manager) is still a witness, because GBK in this case (ticket sales to over capacity) is not involved in such a large number of people," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Komarudin when confirmed by VOI, Friday, November 4.

Based on the results of the police investigation, the last number of the committee for the Berdendang Bergoyang music concert reached 27 thousand of ticket sales.

"They (the concert organizers) have been selling tickets since April. Until now, the committee has sold more than 27 thousand tickets," he said.

This number is very different from the letter submitted by the organizing committee to the Central Jakarta Metro Police.

"It is very different from the letters submitted to the Police, the Tourism and Creative Economy Agency, and the COVID Task Force, which is only 3,000 and 5,000," he said.

Meanwhile, when confirmed by VOI, the Head of the Public Relations Division of the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Complex Management Center (PPK) Dwi Putranto did not provide an answer via the Whatsapp application.

Previously, the Head of the DKI Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy (Disparekraf) Andhika Permata said that the organizers of the Berdendang Bergoyang Festival had already obtained a permit to hold a concert.

However, on the day of the event, the music concert, which was located at Istora Senayan, violated the established rules.

During PPKM Level 1, the government allowed this crowd activity to be held at 100 percent capacity. In fact, the number of visitors who attended Singing Bersway exceeded the designated capacity of people in the Istora area.

"What the organizers did was not in accordance with what we required. If you see the condition of the crowd, the crowd has exceeded capacity," Andhika said when met at Grand Cempaka Resort, Bogor, West Java, Tuesday, November 1.
