PDIP Asks The Governor Heru For Evaluation Of The Assignment Of The DKI Provincial Government To BUMD

Chairman of the PDIP faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Gembong Warsono asked the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono to evaluate all assignments of the provincial government program carried out by regional-owned enterprises (BUMD).

This was revealed by Gembong in the DKI DPRD Budget Agency which discussed the draft General Policy on the Budget for the Temporary Budget Priority Ceiling (KUA-PPAS) of the APBD for the 2023 fiscal year on Wednesday, November 2 yesterday.

"Mr. Secretary, please convey to Mr. Acting (Heru) that there needs to be a thorough evaluation regarding the assignment submitted to BUMD," said Gembong at the Grand Cempaka Resort, Bogor Regency, West Java.

Gembong gave an example of the problems that arose related to the assignment of the DKI Provincial Government to BUMD. One of them, PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro), which according to Gembong, has too many projects being worked on.

"If everything is handed over to BUMD, then what are the heads of directors (heads of offices)? Utilities matters, submitted to Jakpro, as if Jakpro BUMD Palugada. Right, this needs to be evaluated," he said.

The problem is, when BUMD has many assignments, each of the DKI Provincial Government development programs carried out by BUMD does not have good progress and stagnation.

"So, my critical note, the PDIP faction, please convey to Pak Pj that in the future there needs to be a thorough evaluation of the connection with the assignment to BUMD," said Gembong.

For information, the DKI Provincial Government has proposed a regional capital participation (PMD) budget to several BUMDs of IDR 6.23 trillion in the preparation of the APBD for the 2023 budget year.

In detail, PMD Rp100 billion for Perumda PAL Jaya, Rp350 billion for Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya, Rp47.12 billion for PT Jakarta Tourisindo, Rp577 billion for PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro).

Then, Rp4.36 billion for PT Asuransi Bangun Askrida, Rp225 billion for PT Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadung (JIEP), Rp50 billion for Perumda Dharma Jaya, and Rp324 billion for Perumda PAM Jaya.
