Acting Governor Can Anti-Corruption Supplies From The KPK, Heru Budi Hartono Absen

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) invited seven acting governors and their partners to come to their offices, Wednesday, November 2. They will receive anti-corruption strengthening.

The seven governors invited to the KPK are Aceh, Banten, Gorontalo, West Sulawesi, Bangka Belitung Islands, DKI Jakarta, and West Papua.

"The anti-corruption briefing was delivered directly by the Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Nawawi Pomolango, together with his staff at the Deputy for Education and Community Participation of the KPK," Acting KPK Spokesperson for Prevention Ipi Maryati told reporters, Wednesday, November 2.

Ipi said the activities were carried out in two parts, namely Anti-Corruption Supplies (Executive Briefing) for state administrators and their partners and Integrity Development Training for state administrators.

Even so, the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono was not present. He was unable because of a meeting with President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

"The information we received from the Acting Governor of DKI today was not present because there was a meeting with the President at the same time as the implementation of the executive briefing," he said.

Heru will later participate in similar activities on Thursday, November 3. He will receive anti-corruption briefings like other officials.

"The Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta is scheduled to participate in training for the District Court which will be held tomorrow as a series of executive briefing activities today," explained Ipi.

For information, this briefing will be carried out by the KPK in 2021 with a total of nine executive briefings. In addition, there are also four series of Integrity Development Training and Training with participants from ten ministries/agencies, namely the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Law and Human Rights.

Next, the Ministry of Finance, Trade, Agriculture, Social, Health, General Elections Commission, and the General Elections Supervisory Body also participated.
