Ivan Gunawan Becomes a Witness at DNA Pro Trial

BANDUNG - The Bandung District Court (PN) presented celebrity Ivan Gunawan as a witness in an investment fraud trial through the DNA Pro trading robot application which had dragged several names of Indonesian artists.

Ivan Gunawan was presented at the trial regarding him who had received endorsements from DNA Pro. The judge also asked where he got the offer.

"Is the testimony of the witnesses by the Report of Investigation (BAP)", said Chairman of the Panel of Judges, Hera Kartiningsih, at the Bandung District Court, Bandung, West Java, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, November 1.

When asked by the judge, he then confirmed that his statement was by the BAP. He also admitted that he got the endorsement information from his manager named Teddy who was contacted by a man named Rian and Rudy Kusumah.

After accepting the offer, he claimed to have a duty to upload DNA Pro advertising content through his social media accounts.

"I made content and uploads for three months. All uploads have instructions", he said.

Ivan Gunawan became one of several artists who appeared related to the DNA Pro case. Other artists who also appeared related to DNA Pro started from Rizky Billar, and Rossa, to Yosi Project Pop.

In that case, there were 10 defendants with the initials JG, RK, R, YTS, EDP, DT, SR, RS, HAM, and FYT. They are suspected of having committed criminal acts of fraud and/or embezzlement and/or criminal acts of information and electronic transactions (ITE) and/or criminal acts of trafficking and or money laundering with the DNA Pro application.

Based on the investigation by the National Police Headquarters, there were 122 victims of the DNA Pro fraud who suffered losses totaling up to IDR 17 billion.
