JAKARTA - The Ministry of Manpower will deploy supervisors to investigate the news that the management of Waroeng SS (Sepial Sambal) has cut the salaries of employees who receive wage subsidy assistance (BSU) from the government by Rp300,000 per month. The cutting period is carried out in November and December this year.

The Director General of Industrial Relations and Social Security at the Ministry of Manpower, Indah Anggoro Putri, said that her party did not justify the action. He said, BSU from the government should not be reduced from the amount set by the government.

"It (the salary cut to BSU recipients) is not correct and justified. The rights of workers receiving BSU cannot be deducted either the value of the BSU or the salary of the BSU recipient workers," he said when contacted by VOI, Sunday, October 30.

Ida said, the Manpower Supervisory supervisor will also go down to investigate the news related to Waroeng SS's management's decision to cut the salaries of employees receiving the government's BSU. "We will send the supervisor to check. If that's the case, then it's wrong," he said.

Viral on social media Twitter, a circular from the company Waroeng SS (Spanial Sambal) decided to cut a salary of IDR 300,000 for employees who received wage subsidy assistance (BSU) from the government. The salary cuts were made in the period November and December this year.

Circular number 0307/WSS/SDM-Kesra/SK-BSU SS/x/2022 was issued in terms of the preparation of BSU Indonesian WSS personnel. The letter was signed directly by the Director of WSS Indonesia Yoyok Hery Wahyono on October 21.

Director of Waroeng SS (Salbal SPECial) Indonesia, Yoyok Hery Wahyono confirmed a circular that went viral on Twitter regarding a policy that deducted a salary of IDR 300,000 for employees who received wage subsidy assistance or BSU from the government.

"That's true, it's my policy," said Yoyok when contacted by VOI, Sunday, October 30.

The reason, said Yoyok, was that he did not want disharmony to occur within his employees. This reflects on the experience of giving BSU 2021. At that time, said Yoyok, his employees became out of touch because they were jealous of each other.

"The experience of August 2021 because it is not evenly distributed actually causes disharmony. They are not compact and synergistic," he said.

In order to overcome this problem, Yoyok admitted that he had to spend Rp. 1.6 billion to give employees who did not receive BSU from the government.

"At that time we finally numbered Rp1.6 billion to give what we couldn't. Per person Rp500,000," he explained.

Regarding this decision, said Yoyok, he is ready to take responsibility. In fact, he also admitted that he would explain if this policy was in trouble.

"Even if I have to get to the court, I will explain there," he said.

Wage Subsidy Assistance should not be cut into Rp1

As previously reported, the Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Ida Fauziyah said that the wage subsidy assistance (BSU) received by workers or labor should not be less than Rp1. The amount received by workers or laborers must be in accordance with what is given by the government.

This wage subsidy assistance is disbursed and given to workers or once or at once amounting to Rp600,000. This means that this wage subsidy will not be distributed in stages.

Ida said that even if there was a fee incurred for PT Pos Indonesia, it would have been borne by the government. So, to get this assistance, the public does not need to pay.

On this occasion, Ida also said that the distribution of the 2022 BSU is targeted to be completed before the end of this year. Currently, continued Ida, his party is still checking and screening data on prospective beneficiaries.

"It is hoped that it will be completed as soon as possible. So that workers or laborers can disburse and of course it is hoped that it can be completed before the end of the 2022 fiscal year," he said.
