Jasa Marga's Explanation Of The Jakarta-Cikampek Toll CCTV Damage During The Incident Of Police And Laskar Followers Of Rizieq Shihab

JAKARTA - The Managing Director of PT Jasa Marga Tollroad Operator, Raddy R. Lukman explained the cause of the CCTV damage and had not repaired it until there was a clash incident between the police and a special laskar, followers of Rizieq Shihab.

Initially, there was a disruption to the CCTV / Fiber Optic backbone network link at Km 48 + 600 since Sunday, December 6 at 04.40 WIB.

"The disturbance at that point resulted in the CCTV network starting from Km 49 + 000 (West Karawang) to Km 72 + 000 (Cikampek) going offline or shutting down," Raddy said in his statement, Tuesday, December 8.

After receiving a report of offline CCTV disruptions, officers on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road reported the matter on Sunday at 06.00 WIB.

The inspection team then carried out a search to find the location of the problem. Unfortunately, said Raddy, on Sunday it rained for almost a full day. The team couldn't fix the CCTV during the rain.

"Due to the rainy condition at that time and consideration of traffic conditions, the repairs could not be done completely because the location of the backbone network disruption was in the middle of the road," he explained.

So, he said, CCTV repairs could only be completed on Monday, December 7 at around 16.00 WIB.

Meanwhile, the police attack which was carried out by Rizieq Shihab's laskar took place on Monday at around 00.30 WIB, early morning. Metro Jaya Regional Police Chief Inspector General Fadil Imran said that the police received news that the mass of supporters of Rizieq Shihab would be deployed regarding the investigation circulating in many WhatsApp groups.
