Collaborating With Bambang Widjojanto, The DKI Provincial Government Submits An Appeal For The Administrative Court Decision

JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government did not remain silent after losing the reclamation lawsuit at the State Administrative Court (PTUN). Moreover, the decision requires DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan to cancel the revocation of the reclamation permit on F Island.

According to the Head of the DKI Legal Bureau, Yayan Yuhana, his party will file an appeal to the State Administrative High Court (PT-TUN). This step was taken so that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government could maintain the revocation of development permits on reclaimed islands.

"Regarding Island F of the PTUN decision, we are currently preparing an appeal memory. We will file an appeal this week," said Yayan when he was met at the DKI DPRD Building, Jalan Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, January 28.

Regarding the appeal filing, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has actually experienced defeat when facing the Island H reclamation lawsuit filed by PT Taman Harapan Indah, last year. The subsidiary of PT Intiland Development Tbk is suing for the revocation of the reclamation permit on H. Island.

Tit for tat PTUN Jakarta granted the lawsuit and strengthened by the decision of the TUN High Court, related to the Decree of the Governor of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta Number 1409 of 2018 dated 6 September 2018 specifically as long as it concerns the Revocation of the Decree of the Governor of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta Province No. 2637 of 2015 concerning the Granting of a Permit to Implement the Reclamation of H Island to PT Taman Harapan Indah.

Worried that they will lose again when filing an appeal memory, the DKI Provincial Government will collaborate with members of the Governor's Team for the Acceleration of Development (TGUPP), namely Bambang Widjojanto and Nursyahbani to appeal the Island F lawsuit.

"The Gub Team (TGUPP) will monitor what we do, what we will convey. However, they cannot become lawyers, only assist," said Yayan.

As previously reported, the Jakarta State Administrative Court granted PT Agung Dinamika Perkasa's lawsuit against the decision of DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan regarding the Decree (SK) to revoke the reclamation permit on F Island. The panel of judges read out the verdict on Tuesday, January 21.

"Require the Defendant to revoke the State Administration Decree issued by the Governor of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta Number 1409 of 2018," said the verdict quoted by VOI.
