JAKARTA - Russia is increasing the production of all types of weapons from tanks, cannons to high-precision missiles and drones, said Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, Monday.

"The production of weapons and special equipment of all types is doubled: from tanks and weapons to high-precision missiles and drones. Prepare yourself!" he said on Telegram, quoted from TASS October 25.

The politician spoke to Russian opponents, advised them not to expect the country to run out of weapons.

"When reading enemy analysis, I repeatedly found an assessment, Russia will soon run out of military equipment and widely used weapons. Like, everything is gone. Don't hold your breath," he said.

The official further said, under the orders of the supreme commander, Russian President Vladimir Putin, he traveled to Nizhny Tagil and checked tank production at the company Uralvagonzavod, the largest armored vehicle manufacturer in the area.

According to Medvedev, discussions took place during the trip on the issue of accelerating the delivery of equipment to the armed forces, to be used during special military operations and to fix existing problems.

"The goal has been set for the implementation of a government defense contract carefully in all its main parameters, preventing disturbances in the supply of equipment," he explained.

"Attention has been drawn into the fact that all contractors can be held accountable, including for criminal charges and requests have been accepted for other ministries and agencies, which are responsible for government contracts. Supervision of executions will continue," he stressed.
