Police Affirm No CCTV Footage Of The Kanjuruhan Stadium That Was Deleted

The National Police confirmed that no CCTV footage was deleted when the tragedy at the Kanjuruhan Stadium occurred. Certainty was obtained after they conducted an investigation.

"It's clear that nothing has been deleted," said the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo when confirmed, Monday, October 24.

Dedi said a similar statement had also been made by Komnas HAM. "Cak Anam (Commissioner of Komnas HAM Choirul Anam) has conveyed it," he said.

Previously, the Police investigation team would investigate allegations that CCTV footage was deleted during a riot at the Kanjuruhan Malang Stadium. Later, IT experts will be questioned.

In addition, later third parties will also be examined to confirm the growing allegations. The third party is the company or individual who installed CCTV at the Kanjuruhan Stadium.
