JAKARTA - Chairman of the Golkar Party Central Executive Board Dave Laksono reminded cadres not to conflict with the policies set by the party. "No one should carry the party name for personal interests and political attitudes, especially if it is against party policies," he said when contacted in Jakarta, Antara, Sunday, October 23 evening. This was conveyed by Dave regarding a number of people who claimed to be Golkar cadres and joined the declaration of the volunteer group for presidential candidate (candidate) Anies Baswedan. Dave emphasized that a number of Golkar cadres who took part in the group did not represent the party. The Golkar Party has yet to announce support for the presidential candidate. "If there are cadres who deviate from the party's policy, it is resistance to the party's attitude and it is disobedience," he asserted. Previously, Go-Anies Sirajuddin National Volunteer Coordinator Abdul Wahab stated that the establishment of Go-Anies could not be separated from the Golkar Party. He quoted a survey that said most of Anies' supporters were voters of the Golkar Party in the 2019 Election.
