Sandiaga Uno Helps MSMEs To Expand Markets Through Digitalization

Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno stated that MSMEs have great potential to contribute to strengthening economic independence. He encouraged MSMEs to expand the market through digitization.

"If we digitize through digital economic governance, this of course will be more able to open up business opportunities and products that are more quality in the future. And finally our economic revival can be felt as well," said Sandiaga, Saturday, October 22.

Sandiaga invites the Tenjolaya MSME players to strengthen their digitalization skills so that they can expand the market so that it has an impact on the demand for new and quality job creation and products.

On the other hand, the Gunung Salak Water Factory can support an increase in the number of jobs. Considering that there are about 150 workers here from 2002.

Tenjolaya Village has beautiful and abundant natural resources. It can be seen from the water discharge which reaches 500 liters/second. This potential is said by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy to be optimized as a creative economy product that will support culinary sub-sectors.

"Sometimes we forget that creative economy products, be it diverse culinary, need the support of drinking water," he said.

Sandiaga also left a message to jointly utilize natural resources by increasing their human resources.

"So that we can create quality products and open up the widest possible employment opportunities. And of course become the driving force for rural-based economies," he said.

The rural-based economy, which is strengthened by the digital ecosystem, is believed to be a solution in dealing with the recession phenomenon that will occur in 2023.

"As many as 82 percent of the world economy is predicted to enter the recession zone next year. But Indonesia is believed not to experience a crisis next year. This projection must be realized, don't be complacent, but we will strengthen our domestic economy, especially strengthening the MSME side," he said.
