JAKARTA - The Golkar Party invites parties other than PPP and PAN to join the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB). This political cooperation is ensured to be open to any party. This was conveyed by Airlangga in front of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and other party leaders who attended, such as the General Chair of the NasDem Party Surya Paloh to the Secretary General of PDIP Hasto Kristiyanto. "For other party friends, the Golkar Party is very open, inclusive, anyone can join. Tonight, we are ready to join, we are ready to sign it," said Airlangga when delivering his 53rd Golkar Party Anniversary remarks at JiExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Friday, October 21. Airlangga said any party could join. However, those who join must have the same vision and mission, namely the welfare of the community. Not only that, the party that joins must stay away from political polarization. "KIB wants to put politics first, not identity politics that divides the nation. It's time for us to end our political polarization," he said. "Agree?" asked Airlangga. "Agreed," replied the cadre present. Furthermore, Airlangga said that KIB already has a premium ticket to nominate its president and deputy. Even so, this political cooperation still needs support from other parties to become VIPs. "The Golkar Party together with PAN and PPP already have a ticket, Mr. President, to nominate the president and vice president in 2024. Tickets for watching football, premium tickets, Mr. President, are above the minimum limit," he said. "But if you help the general chairman in front of you, this premium ticket becomes the President's VIP," continued the Coordinating Minister for the Economy. Among them, Acting Chairman of PPP Muhammad Mardiono, Chairman of the NasDem Party Surya Paloh, and Chairman of the Perindo Party Hary Tanoesoedibjo.
