WONOSOBO - Land moving in Wonosobo Regency, Central Java, caused the district road connecting Kaliwiro-Wadaslintang sub-district to subside by about 120 centimeters with a length of 60 meters. The Head of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Wonosobo Regency, Bambang Triyono, said that it is suspected that the moving land is still ongoing. "Based on data on Thursday night, the subsidence ground was only 60 centimeters and now it has reached 120 centimeters," he said in Wonosobo, quoted from Antara, Friday, October 21. As a result of the subsidence ground in Medono Village, Kaliwiro District, the road cannot be passed by four-wheeled vehicles. The subsidence road, he said, occurred on Thursday afternoon after heavy rains for a long time flushed the area. He appealed to all people who passed the route to be careful and specifically four-wheeled vehicles to be prohibited from passing through the route. "Meanwhile, the movable land has no effect on the surrounding buildings, but we urge the public to remain vigilant," said Bambang Triyono.
