Police Call Former Child Artist Of IBS For Tens Of Years Of Being A Drug User

JAKARTA - The police presented the results of the provisional examination of the former child artist Iyut Bing Slamet alias IBS who was caught in a case of methamphetamine narcotics. As a result, Iyut is known to have consumed drugs since 16 years ago.

"Indeed, the person concerned from his confession has used it from 2004," said South Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Budi Sartono to reporters, Saturday, December 5.

However, it has not been confirmed whether Iyut has been an active user of Nakoba for dozens of years. Because, Budi only mentioned that Iyut last consumed methamphetamine in early December.

"After we checked that the person concerned last used it on December 1, 2020," he said.

Currently, investigators are still examining Iyut intensively. Because, there is no information about the origin of the drugs. So that investigators continue to dig up his information.

"While we are still developing it to whom he bought it. But the matter is based on the evidence we find and positive urine tests," he said.

In this case, investigators charged Iyut with Article 127 paragraph 1 of Law number 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics.

Previously, IBS or Iyut Bing Slamet was arrested at his residence in Kramat Sentiong, Johar Baru, Central Jakarta, on Thursday 3 December. From the arrest, the police secured a number of butki tools. Some of them are a plastic clip of used methamphetamine and cell phones.
