Police Examined 6 Hours, Ahmad Yani Explains OUR Declaration's Youtube Content Anton Permana

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Coalition for Action to Save Indonesia (WE), Ahmad Yani, has finished undergoing examination as a witness in the case of spreading hate speech against the suspect Anton Permana.

In the 6-hour questioning, Ahmad Yani explained Youtobe's content uploaded by the suspect.

"So there was a Youtube that was asked of me and that Youtube was signed by the OUR presidium and that is OUR official statement on the plans for a national strike carried out by workers before the ratification of the Omnibus Law," Ahmad Yani told reporters, Friday, December 4.

During the examination, Ahmad Yani said he was not aware of the Youtube content. Because the video only contains a voice explaining the statement from US.

It's just that, his name was dragged into the case because the video content seemed to have a statement. Yani was also asked for information about this.

"Now that's a problem for me, the executive committee, right? Because in it there is as if it were (WE) 's official statement," he said.

Meanwhile, Anton Permana is one of three US declarators named by the suspect for spreading hate speech and incitement related to the chaos of demonstrations against the Job Creation Act.

Meanwhile, the other two suspects are Syahganda Nainggolan and Jumhur. They are suspected of spreading provocative content through social media.

They were suspected of having different articles. However, in general they are charged with the ITE Law, articles on hate speech and the spread of hoaxes.
