BENGKULU - The Bengkulu National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) changed the search parameters on the fourth day of the fisherman with the initials D (35) who disappeared in the waters of Seluma Regency.

Head of Basarnas Bengkulu M. Arafah said the location of the search was moved because his party received a report that the ship allegedly belonged to the victim. The ship has the same characteristics as that of D.

"We continued our search for the fourth day at the location where the victim's ship was found, precisely in the Seluma Regency area," said M. The search for the joint SAR team today was divided into three teams. The first team used KN 213 Bengkulu to search the 86 Nm search area, the second team used the Basarnas Rubber Boat covering an area of 16 nm, and the third team used fishing boats with a search area of 30 nm.

Arafah added that in addition to conducting searches in the middle of the waters from morning to evening, the joint SAR team consisting of the water Pol, BPBD Bengkulu City, Polres, fishermen and local communities also conducted sweeps on the banks of Bengkulu. to support the search process for victims using a Rescue Carrier unit, Double Cabin, Rubber Boat, EB 213 Bengkulu, Aquaeye, Pal. Air, Navigation, Pal. Communication and Pal. Medical.

The chronology of the disappearance of fishermen D began when the victim went to look for fish using a canoe in the Tapak Paderi Beach area of Bengkulu on Friday, October 15 at around 05.00 WIB.

Originally the victim came to the mainland the next day, but until now it has not returned so the family contacted Basarnas to help carry out the search.
