The IKN Indonesia Baru Area Gets Priority To Fulfilling Internet Networks

The area will be built by BTS (base transceiver station) or communication tower. Secretary of the North Penajam Paser Regency Communication and Information Agency (Diskominfo), Herlambang, said the fulfillment of the KIPP internet network (the core area of the Nusantara IKN government) was a priority. The North Penajam Paser Regency Government together with PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) will conduct data collection on areas that have not been touched by communication signals or internet (black spots). The fulfillment of the IKN Indonesia internet network has just received the attention or priority of the Ministry of Communication and Information. The district government only continues the program to fulfill the delayed internet network due to budget constraints. Meanwhile, the improvement of internet network services in the IKN Nusantara area is included in the priority of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, as support for digital village programs. Regarding areas that have not been touched by communication or internet signals, the North Penajam Paser Regency Government is coordinating with the Ministry of Communication and Internet Service Providers (providers). "There are still seven areas that are 'black spots', Labangka Village and Sumber Sari Village in Babulu District, Bukit Subur Village and Sesumpu Village in Penajam District, and Karang Jinawi Village in Sepaku District," he said in Penajam, Antara, Wednesday, October 19. North Penajam Paser Regency Diskominfo has prepared an internet network to improve community services and install WiFi for government offices at the district and village levels.
