JAKARTA - A student named Violita (29) became a victim of cell phone snatching carried out by three people in Gang Ikan, Kebon Kelapa 12, Tambora, West Jakarta. Tambora Police Chief Kompol Putra Pratama said his party managed to apprehend the two perpetrators after the incident.

"There were 3 perpetrators, who were arrested with the initials DN and MA. Meanwhile, AL is still being chased (DPO)," said Kompol Putra Pratama when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, October 19.

Putra also said that the incident occurred on Thursday, October 13. At around 07.30 WIB. The victim Violita was in front of the house suddenly the perpetrator AL (DPO) and the perpetrator DN approached the victim.

The MA perpetrator was then tasked with confiscating the victim's cellphone and handing it over to the perpetrator of the Navy (DPO).

"Because the victim was shocked that the thief shouted, so the perpetrators fled," he said imitating the victim's words.

The victim's screams caused the attention of local residents until finally a number of people arrived. The perpetrator was arrested from the residents' tantrums.

"Two people were arrested with the initials DN and MA. Meanwhile, AL is still at large," he said.

The two perpetrators along with evidence of the victim's cellphone were confiscated by the police. The two perpetrators and the stolen evidence were taken to the Tambora Police.

"The two perpetrators were charged with Article 365 of the Criminal Code," he said.
